Self acceptance is the acceptance of oneself in recognition of ones strength and weakness.
According to Shepard(1979), "self acceptance is an individuals satisfaction or happiness with oneself"
Self acceptance has to do with self understanding. It is more important than believing in yourself. Firstly, you have to accept the way you are as a person and love yourself before you can believe in yourself.

Believe me, not up to 25% of the worlds population are made to accept and love you the way you really are, that is why most people become fake these days to gain acceptance from others.
You need to realise that no one owes you anything and stop self pity. You have to stop looking at what you do not have and what is not happening for you and appreciate what you actually do have, everybody has what to be thankful for.

Self acceptance brings about, less fear of failure, increase in self esteem, increase in self worth, sense of freedom and a whole lot more
Work on yourself and you would realise how great and beautiful you are as a person. Focus on yourself and Love yours. Remember, no matter how bad you think you are, there are people out there who you are better than.
