Brush of my summer work ready to be pulled away.
Friends. We will soon be leaving the "hilltop homestead."
It is with some sadness that we leave for a while.
We have had a good time here.
I was able to get some of the work I wanted to get done on my land.
It is not finished and won't be for a some time yet.
I want to do a little more before I leave.
The photo above shows a uphill look at the land.
And the tree limbs had to be moved.
The above photo was taken this summer as you can see.
Now look at the view from the hill of the last week or two.
Autumn is here and the cold is quickly coming.

We will miss the casino trips too. Ha
Lovely trout to eat. Yum yum.

And who could anyone forget our bull photo?

But, the below will have to be our "friend and focus" over the next few months.
Along with you our "Steemit Friends."
This is what I able to get from the market yesterday. It wasn't much.
The market tricked me again. Will I ever learn?

Two sells and one buy. Shown by the yellow arrows. I failed to take
a careful look and take my time. But, we didn't lose.
Look at my "Daniels Trading DOM." Green numbers.

You are right.
Francis. At that rate you are going to starve to death. Ha
I always toss in the "Completed Orders" page. It is not pretty though. Ugh

So I will take my trading with me. Maybe I can learn how to trade someday. lol
We have a big yard down there. I can grow in an area I have been preparing for that.
Back to the days of beautiful sights to see. Such as this one below.

And that time is near to us again. My favorite season of the year.
Thank you for following along with me in my journey on Steemit.
I record some of what I do and see in my life for you to enjoy.
Steemit has been good to me. I have found many new Friends.
Francis
This sounds like you have some days of packing and driving and then unpacking ahead of you. I wish a smooth process for you as you close your homestead for the winter months. ;)
Rebecca
You are right about the packing.
But the trip is the biggest problem for me. Getting through the heavy traffic can be nerve racking at times.
I will try to travel at night as much as I can. But, even then. The mad exodus to the South is only diminished a little. The snow birds have increased in number a lot in recent years.
But, we should be OK. I like driving the "red monster" on trips. It is easier than the little cars.
Thank you for your well wishes for us. I may stay down there for several months.
It is a paradise. A retired person's dream. I wish I was retired. Ha
Francis
Hahaha!
How great is that bull Francis, what big horns!!!
@alextuteu
You are right. The horns on that bull looked to be very dangerous. Ha
We will stay away from those horns though.
Francis
Been selling a few plastic trees at my place of work. Probably the only kid of tree in our house again this year will be poultree (poultry) on the plate.
@pastorike
I love the Christmas season. It is the most wonderful time of the year.
Even the song agrees.
