What is life?
Is it a time for us to see what we can achieve? A time for us to find ourselves? A time for us to search for love and happiness? Or maybe its a time for us to help others and spread the message we believe in?
Some say that people don't appreciate the privilege of life... I say privilege because the next day is never promised. When we shut our eyes at night and escape reality into our thoughts and dreams; we aren't just sleeping, we are expecting to arise the next morning to continue our trek through this crazy roller-coaster called "life".
Most aim to find money and beauty... which is fine. But, I like to think that the true goal of life lies not in finding riches and superficial gains; but finding happiness and love from another human being. Many search for love all their life and never find it, many search for the happiness that alot of people take for granted.
The point of all this can be described in a story I saw on a fellow steemians snapchat... It was a story of a growing boy speaking to his father trying to explain to him about how many people spend their entire lives looking for the happiness, family, and love that is being complained about and how we need to learn to appreciate what we have before we wake up one day and its gone..
Hopefully my thoughts can reach some other minds and help enlighten them onto the important things in life..
