Gaining admission and thinking university is going to be all fun and amazing is the biggest mistake Most youths are making.

Starting from lecture halls to lecturers to hostels... everything is just a mess!!!

this is 7am on Monday morning for a lecture that starts by 10am and outside the lecture hall is filled with students that want to get the front seats

an hour before lecture and the hall is still yet to Be opened

this is what you’ll face in lecture halls especially as an engineering student: and this is actually 30 minutes before start of lecture

5 minutes to start of lecture and the lecture theater still looks like this

These things aren’t supposed to happen this way.
Lectures are meant to hold in very conducive, spacious and well aerated environments.
I wonder how they expect students to graduate with a first class under these ridiculous learning conditions.

I had similar experiences years ago when I first got into the university. Unfortunately it isn't any better today. Oh well it might get better tomorrow! Do let us know when.

LOL
I hope it does get better

standard of education is horribly poor in nigeria..

The standard really needs to be improved

I know the feeling especially after schooling in federal university of technology owerri

It gets better, really; even though our universities are not yet there in terms of standard. It's exactly 11 years since i left university and a lot has improved at the school i graduated from compared to 2007. But a lot still need to be done against the rising population of Nigerian students.
