On the 227 anniversary of the storming of the Bastille in Paris 30,000 French, visitors and others visited the far southeastern town of Nice. Sadly this date would go down in history as a horrible day. A quite man who was reportedly rapidly radicalized rented a lorry, or a big truck, weighing 19 tons and drove through the crowds celebrating the French holiday. The driver by the name Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel drove 1.25 miles through the crowds killing at least 84, including at least 10 children and at least 2 Americans. While driving he reportedly had thrown grenades and fired weapons out of the vehicle harming others. 200 have also been injured with a reported 50 between life and death. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack claiming the driver as one of their soldiers. The driver was taken out by French police. Analyst believe that the increased severity and frequency of ISIS attacks is due to the fact that the militant group is rapidly losing their last ground and calling for their fighters to make a final stand and to prepare for the end
