This beast of a machine breaks your back and your wallet but it does a good job at cutting!
6.5 kilos isn't fun to move around in a forest but for bucking wood or chainsaw milling it's one of the best saws Imo!
As always enjoy the watch!

This machine really separates the boys from the men 💪
Had to give that a full upvote
Regardless of whether it's a Stihl or a Husqvarna — it always hurts to look in your wallet after buying. On the other hand, the work is also a lot of fun. Using a chainsaw to cut the trunk (boot)lengthways is something you rarely see.😮😉 Are you sure the chain wasn't very enthusiastic? Surely, a circular saw would be a simpler solution?
The 3rd and 4th cut is possible with a circular saw but I don't have one that goes through 15cm of pine.
That means a blade of 35 centimeters
Hmm watched video and I think for such wide and long log circular saw may not be suitable because it may not take entire thickness at once as jig saw. But of course it depends from diameter of circular saw and log diameter.
Also with such rail which has been shown in video to make straight cut at once I don't remember such gadgets for circular saw which allows to make straight cut.
But if I'm wrong please correct me.
Circular saws have also awesome guides quite common
That's quite the saw! ☺️😉✌️ slow and steady cuts!

That’s one heavy machine to handle, it should be tagged for men only😁. Great job 👏
In my case I use ms180 this little girl also the good one. Suits for cutting off old trees and in May it's waiting to be used for rebuilding my old garden house.
But about disassembling and building new one garden house I'll trybto write separate posts.
Now my MS180 more than 9 years old, got it from my wife's father I tried to renovate it with some parts and I should say it works great👍
Put a thinner chain on it and max 30cm bar.
