man aint that the truth. People with their portable speakers in public can kiss my butt as well. I was once down at the beach here where speakers are specifically banned but there was a hip hop looking crew that were sitting and jamming out anyway even though it was clear to everyone and them that they were bothering everyone around.
A rather "rough and tumble" friend of mine that was there with us politely went over there and asked "what are you guys listening to?" they answered and he picked up the speaker and said "if you don't turn fucking (insert name of music the kids just said) right now and I have to come back over here, this speaker is going for a little swim!" He smiled and walked away. Dude is huge... they turned the speaker off.
It's just a shame that we have to resort to threats or even violence these days to convince people to act like decent human beings.
