Drink beer and strengthen your brain.

It is true that everything in excess can be harmful to health, and even more drinking alcohol in large quantities is dangerous for our normal functions. In spite of this, it is known that some components that contain distilled or fermented beverages can help to preserve health, these substances in a specific way is Xanthohumol, or Xn present in hops, one of the main components of beer.

According to a study conducted at Lanzhou University in China, Xanthohumol is an antioxidant that reduces the level of stress oxidation of cells, a process that is related to degenerative diseases such as dementia, Alzheimer's or Parkinson's.

The conclusion of the study is clear: "Our results suggest that Xanthohumol may be a potential candidate for the prevention of neurodegenerative disorders."

Obviously this does not mean that you have to drink all the beer you want with the excuse that "it's good for your health".

But here the important thing is that what doctors recommend that "a glass of wine per day does good to the heart", can also be applied now for the beer glass and the benefits for the brain.
