How are you guys doing?
This is my very first article in Ecency and i am a newbie for blogging..
Eventhough I was a writer, a journalist and some called reporter, for 15 years in media industry (newspaper) I am still learning to be a good writer or blogger.
Unfortunately, writing for 15 years in Bahasa Melayu (Malay language), i have in trouble to write in English.
I am here polishing my writing skills. I do hope you (who are reading and expert in English) would teach me by commenting below.
Well,
Newspaper industry are dieing. Not many people would spend more time to go out, driving, stuck at the 🚥, or spend your dollar / malaysia ringgit (MYR) just for a copy of 📰..
I guess no more human on earth would do that anymore.
Technology and digital media are killing the tradition of reading 📰.. Don't you think that?
Well, i am glad that i had that experiences of working in newspapers company in Malaysia.
I worked with Berita Harian, its a local newspaper in Malaysia. It is a Malay-language daily newspaper published in Malaysia owned by the New Straits Times Press. It was first published on 1 July 1957 as the first mainstream newspaper in Malaysia. Its Sunday Edition, BH Ahad (renamed on 1 July 2012; previously known as Berita Minggu), was launched on 10 July 1960.
Started in broadsheet size for many years, then BH changed to tabloid size for many reasons. Btw, i will explain in detail about Berita Harian in my next posting.
Working in this company is not easy though but i enjoy so much and i have learnt a lot. It's kind of my othe "University of life".
I have been through a lot. Ups and downs. Good bad, black and white, happy and sad.
What a Long journey, loads of memories.
Yeah.. I will story them in my next next posting.
It's about time for solah (pray)
I got to go and enjoy my 1st story.
