RE: Me stuck in paranoid situation feel like…..?

in #life5 years ago

Greetings
First of all, I don't think you should appologize, even if the post is actually pessimistic. Being pessimistic should not be considered offensive or anything like that. It's just an approach to a given situation.
I don't see pessimism in your exercise, especially the part concerning social networks and people's obssession with it in detriment of actual living.

In any case, a distinction must be made between anxiety, the "feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease..."; the "desire to do something, typically accompanied by unease..."; or the "nervous disorder characterized by excessive uneasiness and apprehension, typically with compulsive behavior or panic attacks" (OED). And, paranoia, a "mental condition characterized by delusions of persecutions, unwarranted jealousy, or exagerated self-importance..." (OED).

cada cabeza es un mundo, we say in spanish (every head is a world), and we that we acknowledge every person's right to see the world their way. Overthinking can be a dangerous thing, but sometimes it is better than not thinking at all.
True, directing all our thinking energy to playing out all the possible negative scenarios is not healthy and sooner or later it leads to disastrous consequences. It's just a matter of balancing and channeling mental energy.
Regarding modernity

With the advancement and progress, people are more inclined towards having a trendy life style…bullying…peer pressure...body shaming…People now faces this problems in everyday life style.

I don't think all these issues are necessarily the result of "progress" or "advancement". I think that all those issues have always existed in different societies, in some more than others, depending on their idiosincracy. Technology has just made it easier to disseminate and more difficult to escape (especially issues suchs as bullying or body shaming), but they've always been part, unfortunatelly, of our human repertoir, a testament of our imperfections.
