Always say YES to Night-Out with Friends. Here's WHY.

It was our 2nd summer in the college. Having observed every nook and cranny of college, it has nothing new to offer. After attending and bunking some classes of the day, we were back to hostel. We sat idly and discussed the monotony of college life. The discussion was going on, but suddenly Rohit mooted a brilliant idea to spice up our lives. His idea was both sweet and salty. Some of them jumped out of ecstasy while some cringed back to silence. After an awesome display of persuasion skills by Rohit, everyone agreed for “Night-Out”.

The daunting day arrived. And, we were preparing for the night. We thought of taking rest for some hours. But I personally couldn’t catch a wink due to Over-excitement. Afterwards, all the blooming faces assembled at the agreed time. Then, we proceeded to catch a bus to ISBT. Meanwhile, we entrusted the job of Accounts to our passionate Lalit Bindal (@indiantraveller). While in bus some communed with nature, Vibhum (@batmanshares) and I (@iknownothing) were lost in the passion of Rock Music.

It was beautiful dark evening when we reached our destination. We sauntered in the Ambience Mall, Gurugram. Never have I seen such a splendid crowded Mall. After exploring every bit of it, we thought of dinner. Restaurants were selling things considerably above the M.R.P. But we didn’t mind shelling out extra pennies, knowing the standard of the Mall and persistent cries of our Empty stomach. So after having supper we rose from the table and paced to our favorite blocks of the Mall i.e. “Electronics & Automobile Section”. We delved into each and every new gadget with not even a slim intention to purchase it.

After whiling away some more time, we booked the tickets for “Fast and Furious 6” at 12:00 midnight. As we entered the theatre in the dead of night, Silence was all-pervading. But our laughter broke the silence and all eyes were on us. Finally, the movie started and it’s exhilarating enough to keep us awake and glued to the screen. The duo of Vin Diesel and Paul Walker shot up our adrenaline many times during the movie. So it was much more than a “Paisa Vasool” movie.

Around 2:30 a.m. we exited the Mall but reached the climax of our Night-out. Fast and furiously we made our way to India Gate. And believe me it’s one of the beautiful places to spend all the night with friends. Tired and fatigued physically we sneaked into the garden and discussed and laughed in unison about the whole day. Only God knows how we got retired and were lying on the grass. I was lost in my sweet dreams too. All of a sudden, Dog brought us to the real world with its boisterous barking. We shrieked in unison, “What the Hell! How come we are here?”. The early morning dawned on us and we were unwillingly ready for the return journey to the same hostel, from where it all started.

Now when I walk down memory lane, this venture stands out amongst all other experiences of Hostel life. And it’s still green and vivid like it happened yesterday only.
