Building a W, one L at a time. The Underestimated Importance of Your Failures.

in #life7 years ago

Failing is vital to life. Yet we hate it. It is like vegetables. Vegetables are icky, but if you want to be healthy and look your best, you better eat your greens.

Failure is a big green, smelly, steaming amalgamation of all the vegetables you hate but it is more essential than any amount of daily essentials your doctor may recommend.

An L a day keeps the ego at bay.

Take the L. As long as you learn to take the L, hold it, love it. You will be ok in life. As a human being, wether you like it or not you are going to fail at some point. You will lose. You are a loser. Face it. We all are.

Never be above losing. Because no matter how hard you try you just never will be.
You lose, you live, you learn.

And eventually…

After filling your sad trophy case with ugly green, smelly, L shaped monuments of failure…

You will gain a W.

That W is everything. That W will fill you with pride. It will be better than the best sex you have ever had, it will be more euphoric than any ecstasy, it will feel better than how P Diddy feels when he wakes up.

It will fuel you.

Amazing post dude.

Loved the metaphor of Losing with vegetables - so true!!

Every defeat is a lesson.

Unless you're P Diddy of course! Then you just win in your sleep! 😂
