It seems that we depend on the narrative like the gps in our cars, it is how we get from point a to point b. So we wind up accepting the directions we are given because we are familiar with it, its what we know.
What we know is our comfort zone, stepping outside of that to find a new story will be a scary thing.

Totally agree, it's a scary thing, the funny part is that almost all that stepped out said that there was nothing to fear :)
