It's ALL about the PROCESS...

“We do not "come into" this world; we come out of it, as leaves from a tree. As the ocean "waves," the universe "peoples." Every individual is an expression of the whole realm of nature, a unique action of the total universe.” ― Alan W. Watts

In general, people can be so darn impatient. It is all about instant gratification - They want it all - and they want it yesterday!

In my business, I deal with this daily - as the print industry is an exceptionally time sensitive one. Most of the time people do not plan their requirements sufficiently in advance, and therefore 99% of our production orders are flagged as “extremely urgent”.

But, this is NOT the kind of impatience that I am referring to...

What I am talking about is the impatience which people have with their lives, themselves and their general circumstance. I completely understand that setting goals is an essential element to attaining success and that in certain respects you need to push yourself… but sometimes, you also need to just “trust the process of life”.

“If the path be beautiful, let us not ask where it leads.” ― Anatole France

However, over the years, I have come to learn, to trust and believe that life will present and unfold itself precisely the way it is meant to. We will always be led down the necessary roads, be shown all the correct signs, taught all the necessary skills and introduced to all the right people at precisely the right time – even the “wrong people” are right – at that point in time.

Each and every step of the way, we are growing and developing a completely unique, one of a kind, never seen before skillset (literally, emotionally and mentally). Each encounter and every bit of knowledge you acquire along the way will eventually be made use of when your life’s true intention starts to step forward.

“The goal of climbing big, dangerous mountains should be to attain some sort of spiritual and personal growth, but this won’t happen if you compromise away the entire process.” ― Yvon Chouinard

I can most definitely testify to this in my own life. Each and every single job I have ever had, irrespective of whether I enjoyed it or not, has prepared and educated me with all the appropriate skills to run the business that I do – and to do it well.

The reality is, life does not only work like this when it comes to your jobs and careers. It is active on al dimensions. Relationships, friendships, hardships, challenges, and experiences – you name it! They are all leading you and shaping you into your best potential self.

“When your steps are destined... you can trust that your journey has a variety of processes. These processes will be disguised with a perfect strife; however, the struggle is pivotal in breeding greatness..." (T.luard)” ― Tiffany Luard

All you need to do is to trust the process. Have faith in it - Stop being so impatient with it - questioning it around every corner and becoming frustrated with it – simply because it is not delivering what you want, when you want.

Move WITH it and you will very quickly discover that things begin to unfold and blossom a whole lot faster.

Not only should one let the processes of life take you where they will but sometimes you have no choice other than to let that happen. I believe our control of our lives is limited at times. Thanks for the post.

That is absolutely spot on! My pleasure - glad you enjoyed it :)

It's good reminder of our life journey and it's contours.

Beautiful blog my friend! I like it

We are progressing, learning our whole life. All this is a process, so we need to change our bad thoughts, our bad habits, our character. We have reason to be here, we have more goals.

I always believe in that people must do what they like but its not always necessary. I am trying to do it. I am engineer but not doing it. also studied on stock markets but working on interior architecture and furniture. I love touching wood. doing anything with it. but sometimes economy pushes you to do things you dont want to do. Wish everyone can do what they like to do and earn their money happyly. Yes now life is pushing me to work in a company not individually. and now i am seriously thinking of how i can work with managers over me after 10 years of working individually.
