Do you feel like you don't accomplish enough throughout the day? Do you get home straight from work sit on the couch and turn on the TV?

Are you trying to get fit, trying to start your own business or just catch up with life?

Now day In age we are surrounded by different tv networks, video/pc games and the most popular of all... social media! A study by www.statista.com says that worldwide there is over 2.46 Billion social media users.

Now with all this new age technology it's pretty hard not to get sucked into all the hype of Instagram, Twitter, STEEMIT! Now i have read multiple articles and watched a few youtube videos but here are my top 5 favorite things to do to MAXIMIZE my productivity.

#1 CLEAN
Many articles suggest you start off making your bed every morning. Hence at the end of the day if everything else went wrong, you at least have a clean made bed to jump in to. Lol. But if you already make your bed every morning choose another simple task like cleaning dishes every night, making sure all your light swithches are off or maybe (if you don't do this already) make sure you floss every time you brush your teeth. My suggestion, don't shoot yourself in the foot right before the race. Pick simple tasks to start and add from there.

#2 MEDITATION
Now there's many misconceptions about meditation which I'll get into in future post but I'm not telling you to spend an hour every day trying to clear your mind. Your brain is like a muscle, it needs to be worked, trained but also give it some TLC. I suggest starting with 1 minute per day. Pick a subject, a bible verse or even just a scene to focus on. I suggest you meditate on your goals in life. Don't get frustrated your mind will wander. The important thing is to accept that you have wandered, then dismiss that thought and continue with your target subject. "What we think, we become" Buddha.

#3 STAY ACTIVE
In other words workout. This doesnt mean you have to run a marathon or bench 300 at the gym( if you're doing that, good for you). Start off small and increase accordingly. Now that you have set a cleaning task, add a little movement to it. You could start by adding 25 squats to your dish routine. Maybe 20 pushups right before you make your bed. This is completely up to you. Pick something that works toward the goals you're trying to accomplish.

#4 MAKE A SCHEDULE
You can go to your local 99cent store pick up a personal planner or notebook or even use your phone to set certain times aside for task that need to be done. It's easy to dismiss tasks once the tv is turnt on but black and white is not easy to forget. For this one you need consistency. You need to keep up with your planner and check off tasks as they're completed. I'll also suggest you don't cram your planner right off the bat. Still keep it simple and achievable. Too many tasks can throw you off and kill your momentum. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.

#5 CHOOSE YOUR CIRCLE
Pick your friends wisely. Avoid negativity, haters and energy vampires. They are bad for the soul. Surround yourself with goal oriented and like-minded people. Express your ideas and goals. Listen to theirs. I'm a strong believer in the law of attraction. If you want to be successful, you need to dish that vibe out to the world. My mother(I'm sure many others also) would always say " show me who your friends are and I'll show you who you are" now more than ever do i believe this statement.
