So much have changed since I’ve last visited the Golden Gate Bridge. It did not have chain-linked fence posted in front of the hand rail. It’s such an ugly sight to have these fences.
On the other hand, if it helps to save hundred of people from jumping this Bridge it is worth having such a bad sight on the Bridge. The question, though, is how many lives does this really Save? Does it simply detour individuals to do the unthinkable elsewhere or via other methods?
The thought of this makes me appreciate life more and no matter how things may not be going the way I like, I appreciate all that I have as well as all that I DON’T have. I appreciate life.
