Five Ways To Stay Happy!

in #life7 years ago

Professor Lori Santos, a psychiatrist and scientist at the University of Yale, states that science has proved that 'A great effort is needed for prosperity.'

Professor Santos says, 'Happiness doesn't comes easily , you have to practice for it' as well as fine musicians and athletes regularly practice to get succeed.

Below are a few tips by Professor Santos to be happy:

1. Make a list of thanksgiving and blessings:

Every night every week Professor Santos asks his students to write things for which they are grateful.

This is their list of gratitude and blessings.

Professor Santos says: 'It seems apparently a minor thing, but we have seen that the students who practice it  are more happy.'

2. Sleep more and better:

According to Santos, it is difficult to overcome this simple practice.

It sleeps eight hours a night for a week.

Professor Santos says, 'It may seem strange but we know that the risk of going to your depression reduces more and better sleep and you have a positive attitude.'

3. Meditation:

You have to be resignant for ten minutes every day.

Professor Santos says she felt better  being a student.

Now he is a professor, and he encourages his students to go to meditation or work closely with others, which helps you to be more happy.

4. Spend more time with family and friends:

Professor Santos says that fresh research has shown clearly that spending time with your friends and family makes you more happy.

Healthy mutual relations and social connections in which you meet people are clearly improving your welfare.

Professor Santos says, 'It does not go to you, just because you have to keep track of how you are spending time with people.'

The time of understanding is very important for your happiness.

"We often count the wealth in money," Professor Santos says, "It has been found in the research that the wealth has a close connection with how much time we have."

5. Reduction of Social Networking and Increasing Real Contacts:

Professor Santos says there is no need to flow into the false feeling of happiness happening from social media.

He says that fresh research has found that those who use social networks like Instagram are less happy than those who do not use it.

So this is a few techniques to be more happy.

If you really want to be happy, be grateful to your friends and relatives, give rest to your mind daily for 10-20 minutes, keep away from social media and take more sleep.
