So yesterday there was an NFT mint on twitter, by this guy called JACK BUTCHER, he's a big NFT guy from the US, and mint price was about $8, but you needed to do this by sending the 8$ through XMONEY on Twitter (which is only open to US citizens).
So I decided to even forget about the mint because even though I know a few Hive users from the US, I didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable by asking them to help. Woke up this morning and saw that some people even made close to $2000 from this NFT mint, and just like that it killed my morale, did it make me sad? Absolutely.
I wasn't just hurt, it was literal free money that could have been made. However, if there's something I have come to learn. It's the fact that you definitely need to have some type of motion, maybe share a few fake screenshots of some fake money, and this can probably buy you attention.
I understand that attention is currency and most times you need to buy it by lying or sharing fake stuffs, and it'll be definitely hard to get it, if of course you don't have anything to actually show for it.
But honestly, I got tired of asking for help, because it's honestly not worth it anymore. I pitched a form of business idea to someone recently and to think that we were close and this would be honestly easy, but no, they just blatantly refused. I was certain we were going to make some money if what I pitched to them actually worked.
There's a 90% opportunity that we were going to make good money with that opportunity, maybe buy hundreds of thousands of Hive after that, and then make some decent money.
I'm always kind of confident, because the last person I pitched a CRAZY idea to, on twitter made over $50,000 (even though the person scammed me of most of the money), and only paid me like $9000 (which got hacked from my wallet).
I've got a lot of partnership concepts or ideas that could print good money, and honestly when I think about how I need to literally beg for someone close in our Hive Community to see what I am pitching to them, then it just straight up makes me sad. Because this is money on the table that could be made.
Again, I think, perhaps it's trust, maybe it's trust issue, but then again, it's not. I mean if there's one thing unique about Hive it's the fact that you can literally trust over 95% of people here. This is something you can never get anywhere on the internet.
I mean I've bought things from people here, tradable stuffs with them, with no issues of things like "I hope they're not gonna scam me" it's so deep that people here get married to themselves, and other stuff.
I've been here for 9 years my self, and all I'm just looking to do is to survive, build partnership that benefits any all parties, and we can win beyond the "content buddies" that Hive as a platform makes us. I mean, it shouldn't be that hard, should it? But sadly, of course it's hard.
One thing that makes it sadder is being stuck in one of the most craziest countries in the world, living with one of life's most lethal genetic conditions, and even though this is the case, I still have business ideas that can scale to multiple figures only if my internet friends (i.e Hive friends) can just lend a hand and build the dream with me.
For a while, I've decided to bottle it up and just let it go, but missing out on a mint where I could have earned anything from 100$ to 2000$ (which of course we get to share the proceeds)
was just the height of it for me. The one of a couple of days ago was even more painful: texted someone to help with something that was honestly really easy, and I don't even want to talk about the outcome.
Again, it boils down to not having enough motion, as I said earlier. Perhaps maybe if I flexed fake screenshots of figures then maybe I could get easier help.
Again, recently the cost of my medical treatments have skyrocketed lately, plus a lot of other responsibilities too, and I probably wouldn't be asking. Plus, coupled with a lot of mistakes I've made with the crypto market. So... Maybe a man with his back on his wall is always desperate, and I try to just carry my burdens alone as always, but it's become a lot lately... That I've decided to ask publicly for help.
So that's it. Rant Done!...

Better to get it outside and one advice for the future: it doesn't hurt to ask within the Hive community, I could have helped with that as I believe there is some trust built between many of us from here.
Just to give an example: In Splinterlands in the beginning I have put a card on market which was worth about $40 and I thin I but it by mistake at $4. The buyer didn't want to give it back, but while I've written about it, somebody send me one of his cards. So community matters and once trust is established, someone will help.
Yeah, I asked, and it didn't happen and I never got any. With regards to getting it elsewhere as where. The problem is that most of my internet connection has come from within Hive, and I've honestly not needed a lot of help except recently....
If anyone offers if they see this post, then I'll gladly take it, but if no one asks, then I'll just let it be.. and hope for miracle to happen
It's rough times lately, and I hope you get better soon. I find myself doing quite badly, as I don't generally try to involve myself with the entire crypto universe outside of Hive. I don't think I am in it for a long term business deal, but if it was something as simple as buying an NFT, I could probably have helped. However, I find myself only showing up on Hive for a few hours at night, and I stopped using Discord a while ago.
Okay, I was going to actually make a post about the whole situation. The first one is actually verifying my YouTube channel with a US mobile number, so I can get US audience for the channel. This one is more of a trial and error. The second would be helping to actively opening up the channel for me. I make the production of the video just twice in a week, and send, and the video will be uploaded from your location. There's a 70% guarantee that this one pulls in at last $1000 in a month after monetization, and of course we both get 50/50. And it'll be just twice in a week upload. Let me know if you can help with any of the following.
But if course it's only the number verification you can help me with, I'll be grateful too.
I should be fine with that. I looked up some information, and I honestly never considered making a Youtube Channel at all so the phone number verification wouldn't hurt me. It shouldn't take too long for me, but I will probably watch the video before upload just to be safe. If it's needed, I can share the number over Discord (might be tomorrow though, as it's late). Let's change it to 50/50 after revenue. Assuming it does make profit, and you need a certain amount for software/costs we can deduct that before splitting.
You won't need to do anything on your end, just opening the channel. I will make the whole video production myself and everything involved. The things you'll do is just create the channel and then just upload the video whenever I send it to you. It's going to be upload twice a week. In 2 to 3 months, Channel should hit monetization.
The reason is because natively having the channel in a US location pushes the chances of the channel doing well to a 95% which is honestly great.
It's going to be a movie review channel, yes. So you can watch it.

You're wrong, man. You're looking at the winners, but you're ignoring those who bought NFTs that ended up going to zero, or eventually will. Just because some people made a profit after the mint doesn't mean it was "free money." Nobody gets free money. Every investment comes with risk, and once you know the outcome, it's easy to say you should have participated. If that NFT had crashed by 90%, you probably wouldn't be writing this post.
That's not the point of the post, but okay.
Many people lost money even on celebrity-backed NFT and meme coin projects. Seeing a few winners afterward doesn't mean the opportunity was risk-free...and yes, we all have ideas that we believe are valuable, but an idea by itself is not enough to convince people to invest their time, money, or reputation. That's not easy, especially after years of internet and crypto, when most people have learned to be cautious and skeptical.
You must think I'm a newbie in crypto or NFT, but I'll let that slide, again, you should have read the post well, because obviously you commented based on the first few paragraphs, so, this will be my last reply
I never said you were a beginner, either on Hive or in crypto. In fact, I can clearly see that's not the case. By the way, in your own post you mentioned that someone profited from one of your business ideas. If it happened once, it can happen again. The challenge is not just having a good idea, but finding a way to turn it into something that doesn't depend entirely on other people's trust or willingness to participate.
