I visited Someone from church who has rabbit farm in his home yesterday, and he gave me a tour of the whole thing.
Wasn't sure I had seen rabbits in years and I was happy when he decided to show me around, although I got there very late in the night, I'm happy I was still able to get some decent shots on my my Galaxy S25 FE.

Didn't know that rearing these animals are actually quite lucrative, although it's hard to see that as meat item rather than pets, I still think they're too cute to be used for meat item.
They're beyond the cutest animal I've seen in a while, and what I did was forget to ask how much they cost. The oldest were about 9 months and seems like that when they're mostly matured for consumption.
Also, I took these shots at night, and Night time photography is always difficult even with the best flashlight phones. Also, the lighting condition was very bad as well as the owner of the farm only had one small electrical bulb.
I also noticed that these animals have brown eyes, but then these eyesight glows in a reddish way when it's dark.
Have you seen a mini rabbit farm today?
Hahaha. No matter how cute animals are, if they are meant to be eaten, why not? That’s what most animals are for - for humans’ consumption.
It’s been long I have held a rabbit. My late grandmother used to rear some years back when I was still in Primary school- such long years and that was when I loved rabbits so much. I had another opportunity some months ago which was given to my dad as gifts but I couldn’t hold them but glad to see them each morning. I don’t know if he had killed them or given them out but truth is, rabbits are so cute.
I hope a vegan doesn't open this post and see your comment lol, they'd be very angry..😂😂
I haven't eaten any rabbit before, but I observe that they're some of the cutest creatures I've ever seen, perhaps maybe some day I can have some, but I don't think so.
Yeah, older people back in the day reared them
😂😂 I am only saying the fact oo.
Night shots under one small bulb explain the grain but the red eye glow still looks weird. Never eaten a rabbit before. Besides Fish, chicken and I think once, goat meat I've never eaten any other meat.
Yes, not a lot of people have eaten it, but from where I've heard it's the best source of protein, since the meat is lean
Didn't know that at all, sometimes I'm amazed the animals some people can eat
I've seen a rabbit just once, during my secondary school days when we went for an excursion to the research centre at Michael Ọkpara University, Umudike. It was my first excursion and I loved enjoyed it.
Rabbits are actually cute animals, and tastes great, so I heard.
Lol you went ahead to say they're cute animals only to finish with "and tastes great" I thought we were supposed to let them be, since they're cute
Hehehe, the cutier, the tastier. 😂
"Let them be?" when they're meant to be food. 😳
i must say rabbits are cute indeed, but my grandmother cooks rabbit a couple times a year and the meat is very very good baked in the oven!
my grandparents also used to have some rabbits, breeding them for their own stuff
I think people in Europe ate a lot of rabbits way back in the day, but the art seems to be dying slowly and no longer a thing I guess... I haven't eaten one though
It's true it's dying slowly because restaurants for example don't make rabbits anymore, supermarkets rarely sell them... The taste is very good... Horses too are good, there's more of them on supermarket or restaurants definitely

The rabbits are cute, but I don't think I have heard many people opening rabbit farms, or places to eat them. I am sure they exist, but I have never been to one in the US. I did see some in China before.
Definitely too cute for a meat item. I'm trying to imagine eating rabbit meat without having the image of a rabbit in my head. I can't remember the last I ate rabbit meat, must be a long while ago. The same too with visiting a rabbit farm, not much of those around here.
