Is Bitconnect Too Good To Be True or Too Good To Pass Up?

There is a huge amount of excitement around bitconnect and with good reason. With returns of over 1% per day it offers an opportunity unlike any other I've seen. And what makes it even more interesting is that it's backed up by a blockchain.

For those that don't know Bitconnect, in addition to being just a currency, it is a platform that offers users the ability to loan money starting at $100, which allows for the daily returns I mentioned above. It's very simple to use and is gaining tremendous popularity.

The loans are used by Bitconnect to trade the volatility in the price of bitcoin. These loans are making people rich because of the power of compound interest. If you reinvest the profits from your $100 loan for 2 years and then began withdrawing your daily payments, you would have a $100,000 annual income. (Off an initial investment of just $100!!!)

Whenever you tell someone about the possibility of this type of growth, many people's immediate reaction is "It's a ponzi scheme" or "It's a scam" Unfortunately there are a lot of scams and those of us who didn't grow up with much are conditioned to believe that wealth and opportunity are for other people. We're taught to get a job and work hard for someone else like most of our parents have done.

However there are many reasons I personally believe in Bitconnect. First because it is blockchain technology, there is a record of the transactions. Second, it is a near half billion dollar company, so it's not some fly-by-night website . Finally with the recent meet and greet for top investors held this week, there are finally faces associated with this company and if anything would go wrong they would be on the hook. I'm somewhat of a risk taker anyway and if I can risk $100 with the chance to make $100,000 or more, I'm all in.

I'm putting my money where my mouth is. So If you want to get started with bitconnect, why not use my link:

While it may not be a scam in your opinion, it could be considered spam. Spam is not appreciated by the community and could be flagged or may result in action from the cheetah bot..

Some things that can be considered spam:

  • Banner ads
  • Referral links/codes
  • Repeating the same post
  • Links to known scams, phishing sites, and other dangerous links

I don't have any banner ads. This is all original content. I have not repeated the same post and I don't have any links to scams, phishing sites or other "dangerous links" This is the first affiliate link I have ever posted and there is nothing spammy about my post. From everything I've read, affiliate links are allowed on Steemit. See:
https://steemit.com/steem/@theblindsquirl/honest-question-regarding-affiliate-links
https://steemit.com/steemit/@asolopreneur/promoting-affiliate-products-is-allowed-on-steemit

If it is not allowed to post affiliate links then I will remove it. However I think another good question is whether people should be able to have accounts that contribute no real content but instead just list everyone they have flagged and reported to make a name for themselves by trying to bully people. I took a look at your account and there are currently 15,861 "posts" which the vast majority appear to be about the same thing, who you've flagged (repeating the same post)...About as spammy as it gets.

I understand wanting to protect the community against plagarism and dangerous links (neither of which exist in my posts) but it is a total conflict of interest to have an account that directly profits from marking other account holders' posts as spam. It doesn't seem to be very good for the community to have an account trying to meet it's daily quota by poopooing on other users.

may be both.. :|

I'm also on it, very nice till now. If you need a sponsor, take me: balesch
