Ask Germany how good the wind turbines worked for them ;) Also not only the winged animals suffer from the turbines, also people who live near by ...

Sort:

Why is there a suffer from it?

The sound the turbines emit constantly, sound contamination ... and the problem is that they must be near to the place that need the electricity to be really useful ... if not, you need more electricity to make them go on that what they produce back.

Yup... I understand.

I'm trying to remember the time I was sitting in a Canadian wind farm. I don't remember that they made a sound. But if this is a problem then I am thinking it will be part of the upgrades. Older gas powered generators made tons of noise but most nowadays are faint enough that we don't think too much about it.

The big windmachines are always in group, means you get a lot of them together and they make a monotone sound for sure. They are big electrical dinamos rotating, of course they produce sounds ... You should go more often and live there for a while. And they need to be near the place that will spend the electricity, I mean very close or they do not really work. The other is that they are not so efficient as people think ... as I say before... ask germans how good it is with them.
