2021 has been a year of not doing many useful things and instead trying to find ways to enjoy and recharge myself.
That's pretty worthy, in my opinion! So many don't take time for themselves, or simply can't take time for themselves, and the long-term mental effects are devastating. π
I tried starting a garden this year! But I ended up getting a bit down-hearted with it all. I didn't have enough room in my planters, everything was overcrowded and didn't grow properly, and it was all a mess. But at least I had lots of basil for a short while. π Thinking that I won't try again until we live in a house that has a proper area fit for a vegie garden.
That plant in its own biodome thing is pretty spiffy! πΏ And so is that globe of lights! It reminds me of something I've been looking at on and off all year but couldn't justify buying it for myself:

You make a fair point. It's quite a sad reality in today's world and I really struggle with the pace everyone is expected to keep. I'm very happy to have hubby who gives me this space to rest!
Oh no, that's so sad to hear about your garden! The basil is nice though, I really like having that during the summer. Maybe you could stick with herbs for now π

I think I'll be gathering my Christmas decoration this week to start decorating. We don't have a tree, but I have cute little Santa's and houses with lights and stuff.
