I am still off the alcohol and doing OK. I decided to stop drinking Alcohol for the year after my drunken New Years Eve, i drank far too much then suffered for it after. I felt ill for days, the worst hangover i have had. Im not a big drinker, its very rare i get that bad but since it was New Year and everyone else was having a drink i thought why not.

I still have a full bottle of my favourite drink Sambuca sitting on my kitchen table, no urges to have a sip. Hubby is doing dry January which is helping me stop.
I used to love a drink when i was younger especially when i used to go on pub crawls with the girls wm, i have a lot of good memories from back then 😉😜. I'm too old to even think about a pub crawl now, it really would be a crawl as i can't walk far.
One good thing Is having no alcohol means no hangovers and no mashed brain, my head appreciates it and so does my purse.
Stopping drinking is a good idea whilst i am on the road to sorting my mental health, its keeping my head clear so i can focus on what i should be doing.
There's only 336 days until Christmas anyway. Its just around the corner. Lets see of i still have the very same bottle then.
Thank you @son-of-satire
