HAPPY NEW WEEK EVERYONE

I was really excited for today, I had arranged with hubby today is the day I get our family photos on the wall, sorry all my granddaughters photos onto the wall, we have been putting it off until everything else was sorted and I needed new photoframes for a couple of her nursery photos. I managed to buy them last week so today we were prepared to get the job done. I had searched Google looking for corner layouts, I found the layout I wanted so full steam ahead, or was it.

This is the corner I wanted to fill with photos of my gorgeous granddaughter, we have been stacking her photos up especially for today. I have covered some of the faces as I don't want my granddaughters face online, I don't mind my pups faces. I wanted these photos moved then the wall covered with her photos then I wanted my pups faces on the cabinet with my little man Geordies Urn sitting next to them. That was my plan..

Now this house has been a nightmare from the moment we took out a mortgage, everything we do here always goes wrong or drags on for months e.g our new Kitchen that was installed last Oct/Nov has just been finished, well when I say finished we are still having problems with the dishwasher. Every job we have done on our house has brought us problems so not for one minute did I think this would go smoothly.

We found the attachments we had bought to fit on the wall to hang the frames. Firstly hubby couldn't find his hammer, after emptying the cupboard he found it at the back, then we had to make sure we had all the photos fitted into there frames securely. Hubby got his tape measure and pen out marking the wall for the exact spot, he put the fitting on the wall, he hit it once with his hammer then all the lights went off. Thankfully we had a new fuse box fitted when we got our shower room fitted (another problem we had to deal with). Luckly the lights and fish tanks came back on or we could have lost all his fish plus hubby didn't get an electric shock. He then downed his tools and gave up.

AFTER

We have given up with hammering into the walls and instead bought some Command stickers from Amazon. You stick one side onto the wall then the other piece onto the photo frame corners then they stick together like Velcro. Just hope these work aswell as they say they do. They are due tomorrow but with Amazon could be anytime this week so that means we have to arrange another day to try them out then another day to hopefully finish the job. Something so simple has worked out hard work.

I've only ordered one box to try them if they work I'll order a few more. I don't know what else to use without drilling holes. Whatever we use has to be strong enough to hold them in place until we move them, I don't want them falling off the wall. I'm also starting to think maybe w3 should decorate the room first then its done for a few years, oh all these decisions are to much for me at the moment.
