Note that the Bible did not say “light has come.” But it was very specific. It says “your light.” That means there is a specific light that belongs to you. And that is the light you must get up to shine. Your sun will not rise if you arise and you’re shining another man's light.
Another man's light belongs to another man. You are not instructed to shine another man's light. You are not instructed to shine just any light. You are not instructed to look around and pick just any light you see around you and start shining it. You are instructed to GET UP AND SHINE YOUR OWN LIGHT.
Why do so many people work without results? It is most times because they're not shining their own light. Perhaps they are shining a light that belongs to someone else in life. So, working hard doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll be rising high.
It is working right that makes you to rise high in life. And, working right means you’re shining your own light. And, that begins with you recognising your own light. You must first identify your light, the light that belongs to you, the light that you’re meant to shine, before you can truly rise high in life.
