Sometimes changing your life can be easy!
You make small changes that turn into habits. That eventually change your life.
Or you can make large changes more rapidly. But sometimes those have trouble "sticking."

Give Freely

Isn't it a pain in the butt to decide who deserves what? If you decide to give. Just give. Don't overthink on whether they "deserve" It. Be happy that you gave today and move on.
This can improve your happiness level because you aren't overthinking things.

Help No One

By this I mean, Don't give unsolicited advice. Or don't just jump in and help. When you give help that is sometimes not asked for, You are sometimes looked at as "fixing".

NO one likes to be "fixed." They may feel insulted, Instead of seeing your good deed.
You also may be making assumptions about the type of help that is needed.
This is a habit I have too. You see someone in pain, And you think you know exactly what would fix the problem. But sometimes you only see the surface.

Allow yourself to feel pain

Sometimes we shut out the pain. In this busy world, we may not take the necessary time to grieve. Allow yourself to feel the pain so you can move on and keep your mental health intact.

  • Don't eat your pain away
    -DON'T Shop it away
  • DON't hide it.
Feel it so you can heal your discomfort.

Don't fight your natural habits

While I'm all for changing your habits and improving your life. Sometimes silly small habits aren't worth changing. Instead, focus on Giving in and organizing around them.

I have a habit of throwing my empty water bottles (reusable) On the floor when they are empty. To solve this problem, I put a container on my floor. Now I can throw them into the container, And when it fills up, I can easily refill all my bottles. Instead of forcing myself to stop throwing the bottles on the floor, I can still do my bad habit, But now it makes more sense.
You can do that in every aspect of your life.

Avoid debt No matter what

Debt is terrible. Not only do you pay interest, But it causes unnecessary pain and constant heartache. Avoid it at all costs. Live below your means, Keep an emergency fund. Or if your struggling, Sell some items to pay your bills.

Last tip is THE most important.

  1. Agree fully
  2. Unless asked for help
  3. Feel pain but know when to show it.
  4. Habits are meant to be formed and broken. Keep the good, work out the bad.

Wonderful comment :)

Your second point struck me the most. Many people have good intentions but their version of "help" either isn't wanted or isn't needed.

I would say sometimes they get caught up with their own ideals, whereas not everybody thinks the same way so what is normal, good and expected is what causes the other person to be naive and act in a reverse manner, against the "advice".

There was a great "quote" from the "KOTOR(Knights of the Old Republic (Star Wars RPG game by BioWare)"
where you as the main character disembark your ship, enter some slums and get cut off by some "homeless" character asking for some credits (little do you know there is a tough lesson ahead) as with all RPG's there are many options but one in particular is very revealing of the above "rule":

If you choose to give him credits, he thanks you, you get good points and after a second you see him with the thanks of your "master" the "old and wise granny" how he gets beaten up for his money and left in the gutters with nothing, from then on I was thinking how in most cases when you help somebody you are helping yourself, so you aren't really helping anybody but yourself, since the other person has to solve his problem, if you step in he won't gain the "xp" knowledge/resilience ad you will gain all the credit.

On a related topic is also the kind of people that never ask for help, now there I think you should help when necessary since they might end up seriously harming themselves, think of somebody in the GYM trying to lift, without proper form and previous preparation(rigorous training) well if you don't help him he might end up crushing his skull, or breaking his back doing some deadlifts, just because he decided to do something and tried his hardest past his real limit (limits get pushed gradually).

So far so good, good evening and good luck :)

I love that quote!
Your talking about a game my brother used to be obsessed with! I remember him playing it over and over again LOL.
I love the last paragraph how to you talk about those people who never ask for help! The lifting I can relate, I never asked for help, But I wanted to see if I was capable of doing it on my own, So I got annoyed when coworkers would rush over to help me. LOL
BUt I agree with what you said on it may end up crushing his skull. In A situation like that it's probably better to go ahead and help! Even if you annoy the person a little bit LOL.

Great comment!

Heheh yeah! It's kind of weird how it works.

Sometimes changing your life can be easy!
You make small changes that turn into habits. That eventually change your life.

But is it so simple? I mean if one has a habbit of smoking, then the smallest or maybe the rapid change he can make is just avoid it, right? All he needs a strong reason to avoid it..

I agree with you on that! The idea is simple. But the action steps can be hard!

"Don't give unsolicited advice. Or don't just jump in and help. When you give help that is sometimes not asked for, You are sometimes looked at as "fixing".

NO one likes to be "fixed." They may feel insulted, Instead of seeing your good deed."

!!CAN SOMEONE TELL MY MOTHER IN-LAW THESE THINGS like STAT!! Anyways good read. Nice images. Well done.

LMAO!!! Maybe you could mention it to her in a sneaky way ;)

I like it how older people tend to like their own customs, where they will repeat past mistakes just because "it's too late to change"

Have you played KOTOR btw not the MMO the original games

I can agree with that 100% J3dy! hahaha.

To feel your pain might be one of the best advice ever. The feelings we have are there to be felt, not to be shopped away as you write. Feel sadness, as much as you would feel happiness and you will be a lot happier.

Wow! Thats not what I meant. I meant DON'T shop it away, but to fully feel the pain. Sorry I'm tired, I'll change that right away! hahaa.

Advice is best given when it is asked for, or if you lead by example. Although, sometimes the truth is best served when it is needed the most. When one refuses to hear anything else..

Excellent comment! "Lead by example" Thats a good way to give advice without giving advice.

Don't get me wrong some deserve to the hear truth they blatantly ignore. Especially, where it will open their eyes.

They do!

No, I think you wrote it the way it should be. I wrote that feelings are here to be felt, and NOT the be shopped away :) We both agree ;)

XD you are so funny hehe.

Btw. I would love a follow from such an inspiration as you. I will write about similar things soon, as I think the things you write about inspire people to become a better version of themself. I am following you of course :)

Aww I followed you back! I can't wait to see what you come up with ehhee!

It will be good! I promise :) Thank you for the following! :)

Debt is slavery...

It is I agree!

So glad I followed you! Keep up the good work :D

Following :) Thank you .

Horay! :)

That was a good read, thanks for inspiring me today :)

No problem heheh :) I'm glad I could help.

Amazing tattoo look like Sun and Moon, in different side.

I really like your posts. They are very thoughtful :)

Love this part:"Just give. Don't overthink on whether they "deserve" It. Be happy that you gave today and move on."

Agreed with your tips. I will follow these tips.

Well written!! I liked the beginning itself. Small changes are easy to adapt and are sustainable, whereas large changes as you mentioned, do not stick for long :)

Good advice nice post my friend @kaylinart keep up the good work
