To get away from our busy & sedentary life, we planned to visit the beautiful & magical land of Parvati Valley.

DAY 1:
The journey began in the afternoon. We boarded the flight from Mumbai & landed in Delhi by 2 PM.

Kasol is approximately an 14-16 hour road journey from Delhi. So we decided to take a bus journey in the night.

Meanwhile we had some time to kill, so we decided to meet one of your friends in Mahipalpur.

We tried some local food here - Samosa, Gol Gappe(Pani Puri) & Momos. It was cheap & tasty!!

Our friend had figured out a roof top restaurant for lunch. The weather was a little hot but the view from the restaurant was beautiful.

We ate & talked for hours until we had to leave. We booked a cab to reach Kashimiri gate. Kashmiri gate is an inter-state bus junction which helped us in getting a bus uptil Bhuntar.

We boarded the bus in the evening at around 8:00 PM.

Protip: Never book tickets from the agents outside the Kashimir gate. It is always better to book tickets online or through the booking counter inside Kashimri gate.

At 9:30 PM, the bus took a halt at a good restaurant. We had Pav Bhaji, Chinese & Punjabi food for dinner.
