LOL. very nice tutorial.
i definitely didn't mean my question to imply i thought it would have been some slight against you btw. but i also certainly understand wanting to make sure it's clear that it is yours. i probably wouldn't have understood that before november 13th, but i know i definitely take pride in the sheer amount of images and videos that i have made from scratch, and though i do post other images also, it's a small percentage.
some of the content here reminds me of like stuff i remember seeing when i was a kid on somethingawful. which is a good thing in my opinion. (when i was a kid, not recently, the site became weird i think lol)
i kinda become a snob on memes because i never just take those templates and put text on them. and i spend like hours making mine, not knowing if it's even going to be that funny. i've wasted many hours before finding out i simply couldn't execute something in a way that would be funny enough.
LOL! How many conversations are we having?
I'm with you on being original and I know how hard trying to create 'funny' actually is. There's the lazy route. Political humor. Basically pick a team and tell them what they want to hear... blah. Not for me. Too generic.
And yes I edited the comment. I spelled blog wrong....
Don't ask me how I fucked that one up.
bob loblaw's law blog
i asked because 2 notifications seemed to go to the same URL and it was tripping me out. and yeah i think we're having 3 maybe? they don't feel all that disparate though, if anything it's nice to talk about different things. if we just had one comment thread, i bet we'd have simply stopped talking already!
and i would say, there IS political humor that works, but there's also political talk that isn't funny. i know what you're talking about but i don't think it legitimately fits the definition of comedy, regardless of if the messenger is labeled a comedian.
you ever watch The Life & Times of Tim? (total subject change here, i know)
Bob Loblaw. I love that name. It's too bad there's no names left to use, because I would have totally used that one.
And yes you're right, some of it works. Southpark as example. But Stephen Colbert these days as example, and that annoying prompted laughter... WTF? Are we living in 1975?
I haven't seen that, no. I'm a bit of a weirdo I think. If I'm here trying to get some work done, or elsewhere, it's only music. I tune out all the distractions in this world. No news, no politics, no movies, no games, no nothing. Just me, my brain, and some sound pumped directly into my ears. (two can play at this subject changing game)
seems like it might be the kind of show you would like.
i almost always have a TV on, and something else. it reminds me of my chaotic childhood and calms me down.
i also listen to drum and bass
It's on my list. Thanks for the recommendation. When I vanish during my downtime, whenever that'll be again, that's probably when I'll check it out.
I've experienced some chaos. Good times! ...sometimes.
Current song in my head:
interesting music, marty
this is the kind of music i really like-
Yeah. I can handle that stuff. Not sure about that name though. Pretty sure it was taken already.
Since you like cats, I have a song, for you and yours to enjoy, together:
