These are two of the ways that describe the mindset about work and what it means for your life.
Working to Live-People from countries like Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece. These people (usually) value money less than other capitalistic powerhouses like the United States, UK, and Japan. The mindset is that work is a means to having a good life that can be shared with others, working fewer hours, and having some sort of support from the government.
Living to Work- Valuing hard work and consistency to achieve massive monetary wealth and status over the course of your life. Usually the thought that investing some of the years of your life around work will lead to better and more prosperous later years.
