Dear readers, mom's dad's and single's
As we all know this time of year means a break for our young one's that will soon run the world, so please make sure to look out for them, even if they aren't your own.
Keep your eyes open when on the road, at the mall or park, look for bad characters hanging around parks and trails that could prey on our young freedom loving children..
Also, Please make their summers something special if possible, think about this, you and your children only get around 12 summer's...just 12.
They will pass by very quickly, as we all remember!
As a child it seems like the days go on forever, but as we grow up, more responsibilities make for less time, and alot less time for parents, your kids need some of that time too...so make the time, only 12 times do you get to see a summer away from school.
And they will remember alot of them, during high school mostly. So force yourself to plan or make the best of them!
Please do your very best to make sure families don't lose there kid, when in stores be aware of the kids, and what the parents look like, just in case, be sharp, cause someone else may not be.
Please protect your children, and your children's friends, all of our children are super important! Feed them as they are growing fast! lots of fresh fruits and vegetables are truly super important, fish, bread and plenty of water!
VERY IMPORTANT, SWEETS AREN'T FOOD, SPECIAL TIMES BUT NOT EVERYDAY! SUGAR ISN'T NEEDED IN OUR DIETS! IT PROMOTES THE GROWTH OF CANCER CELLS TOO.
Activities! plan or let your children be outside more then normal, learning doesn't have to stop nor be boring, get imaginative! even a small picnic in the back yard will make a difference..here's some things you can do!

Have a barbecue
Relax
Nap in a hammock
Have a picnic in the park
Sit on a porch swing
Stargaze while lying in the grass
Watch the sun set from a beach
Dangle your feet off a dock
Bring a blanket and lie on the grass at an outdoor concert

Swim in a lake
Rent a bike
Go fishing
Go camping
Play tennis
Go for a hike
Go kayaking or canoeing
Toss a Frisbee
Just Because
Collect seashells at the beach
Take a last-minute road trip
See a summer blockbuster
Walk barefoot in the grass
Get caught in a summer rainstorm
Sleep with the windows open
Make a summer playlist
Smell freshly-cut grass
Feel the sun on your back
Roll up your pant legs and go wading
Go to a baseball game

This is a sweet post. I have no idea what I am going to do with my teenage son this summer..yikes!!! He wants nothing to do with his mama :)
It's really hard at this time during teenage years, may be better to let him choose and just back him up somehow, of course your decisions are final. Try to have a good summer, and hopefully the addiction of video games won't take over, when I was young they were fun, but not for super long periods like now, these days its like playing a movie...mabe later nights for games, during day outside. Hope everything works out fine! Thanks for the great comment!
