I came across this a while ago, and thought this is very interesting. i thought Spanish is the most commonly spoken language that I even consider picking it up!
I speak Polish (which seems to be an unique skill as this language isn't covered in this infographic ;), the lingua franca of the Internet and German. I also learn Dutch and I'll pick up in the future Russian/Spanish, because as Wittgenstein once said "The limits of my language mean the limits of my world".
For me native Dutch, English, basic German and basic Esperanto

whao amazing. i guess in Asia (yea i'm from Asia) we have the western colonial influence which kind of introduce more languages into the place
