I had read the post of course and I completely sympathize with OP's bro. I too held many Bitcoins back in 2011/12 when it was worth single digit USD and decided to just sell them off. Joined the crypto world again this year and often think what could have been if I kept my BTC from back then.
this is the 2nd post of seen in two days about this issue... we all have to be smart, crypto isn't a life plan for most people, just a supplement
like anything else, investing is risky... a lot of people are jumping in during this delirium, but we have to hold on to reality too
maybe we should make crypto illegal?

@libert , that epic fail, nowadays crypto didnt secure, today i read @dan post on twitter, he lost 5btc cause forget password, i am verry happy that he said in #EOS will be recovery options.
