RE: Why I Almost Quit Steemit

Yes the last part really hit the nail on the head! Depression is cyclical and they'e done research that shows that the difference between semi-depressed and super-depressed people (not real medical terms lol) is almost entirely decided by how skilled they are at not letting the "downswing" spiral out of control (I dont have the reference offhand but I will include it in an upcoming post). If you practice good lifestyle choices such as eating well, resting, exercising, interacting with actual human-beings (the horror!!) then I would highly recommend reading up on mindfulness-based stress-reduction (this will be the topic of my upcoming post) and cognitive-behavior therapy that to learn how to develop the tools that will help you put the brakes on when you feel that spiral coming. Good luck!
