I'm glad you chose the added expense of underground wiring; clearing the 40ft path would have been quite a job! So why didn't the phone company charge you for the lines you were putting in? I'll have to go back and read your first posts on this, but I'm looking forward to your future ones for sure!

I wanted privacy so no path cut down the middle of the property. It is really worth it to go underground as I don't have the electric company on my property at all.
I do not know about why the phone company does not charge for putting in lines.They even ran fiber three miles for me to have decent internet. I am in the woods and to have 30/5 is awesome.
@basicstoliving that is awesome about the phone company; sometimes, such as this, it's not necessary to know "why"...we just "do" 😂
