Are you wise or are you enlightened??
There is a huge difference between being wise and being enlightened. The difference being that big , that it will change the way you see the world or the world sees you.

Hello friends , it's been a while that I have posted something here. But I must say I missed doing this. Doing what feels good from within and being able to speak your heart out (even though getting paid for it is an extra benefit 😅😬). So, I was away from steemit all this while , absorbing more of what the world had to provide and in the process learning some lessons that I'll never be able to forget for my own good and plus for the good of my folks.
There are times when we think we got it all "figured" out about the way of life and then suddenly life comes back around re-creating that very moment where we thought we got it all figured out and it proves how stupid we were to think that ! .
What do we do then ?
It changes the whole meaning of life for us . Our perception towards it changes and it's up to us to take a good lesson out of it or be an ignorant fool.
They say life happens around you and not to you .
And knowing ourselves better plays a major role in making life simple for us. That's the step before every other step. And what after we know ourselves ? Will we be able to accept it or or try to curve our way around it ?
Sometimes we try to compare ourselves with others and their are times that we feel less of ourselves . Take steemit for that matter . There have been times in the beginning that I used to check out all the trending posts from all them whales and try to compare my post with them and to find out the reason to why they are getting that many upvotes and that amount of money .
It took a while for me to realize that they have fought their part of the battle to reach to that level and always tried to come with new original content and so the fan following . They know what they want and what others want . This might seem irrelevant , but trust me that's how everything thing works and instead of comparing we need to accept the fact that we are unique in our own ways and and we gotta make our own paths .
That's brings me to the first step of know who you are . i.e
- Realizing our uniqueness .
It is extremely important to mark our virtues and be proud of them . Even in the similarities of our stories , we retain our individualism. That's what makes us unique .
- Curb the power of your inner critic.
Our inner critic i.e the voice in our head , sometimes the voice of reason , might not be always right. If the voice says that we are not good enough , we gotta go out there and prove it that we are better . Show that voice that we are the captain of this ship .
- Celebrate your virtues.
When we show pride in our work or success , no matter how small or big it is , our confidence is boosted. Rather than worrying about what we don't have , hunt for the numerous virtues that we possess. And that way, trust me , we will love ourselves more .
- Gotta be kind to ourselves.
Accept your flaws and love yourselves the way you are. Thats the motto . This compassion towards ourselves defeats the monster within us.
- Don't you dare look back.
Most of us try to look back to the idealized dreams of our youth and mourn our failures. We gotta realize this , what has gone back can never come back. Focus should be on what is still to come . Have the courage to accept you have failed . Have the wisdom to accept that you are not a failure .
- Believe!!!!.
The best is for the last. Whatever you are , believe that you are the best . And in due, you will realize that it's the truth.
Acknowledging our faults doesn't make us lesser mortals. There is no use of breeding an inferiority complex. Accept the truth and learn to live with it . That's what makes our foundation and our roots strong .
