I'll post the tape job that we did on the stem as soon as I'm able. Wrapped the stem as tightly as possible with tape, then used string the support the stem as well.
Hopefully that will do the trick. The snap occurred at the base, and it didn't look to be dying at the top. So fingers crossed the buds continue to develop.
i have never done this with cannabis, but molasses can be a good seal from tree barkon trees that were damaged and loosing water.
No that's not weird. :) Also I can say, i've never used molasses to help mend broken plants or trees either. That is an interesting tree remedy.
I'm not even sure i've ever seen or eaten the stuff.
