Trump, from the earliest days of his presidency, has threatened others he says are lying about him with "secret tapes" that will reveal the truth. His implication has always been, of course, that the tapes would prove that Trump is always truthful, innocent and faithful and the rest of the world is always lying, cheating and being mean to him. But, somehow Trump has never been able to produce any of the tapes he implied existed.
Well, for the first time, there ARE tapes and, no surprise, Trump is the one who comes out as the lying, cheating bastard.
The first tape, of what will probably be a series of tapes secretly recorded by his former attorney Michael Cohen, has been released. And it seems to undeniably prove beyond all doubt that Trump has been lying to the whole world about his participation and knowledge of bribing women he slept with to keep them quiet. I for one have known this for years, as it has been obvious to anyone paying attention or not pursuing an unrighteous agenda. But for some reason it seems to be surprising to some.
The upcoming mental gymnastics that will be performed to spin, explain and deny what we hear with our own ears will be epic and Olympic.
