A brand NEW part of our lives is forming. We bought a house!

2018 have so far been full speed (some would say Steem) ahead. Our family have for a long time been renting a house, and now we are finally in a situation where buying a house is possible.

We have been keeping tabs on the housing market in our area for quite some time now. So we knew what to look for, the price ranges, location etc. We ended up looking a few places before New Years but they were just not for us in one way or the other.

Was it faith or a happy coincidence?

I like to think there's a reason for everything that happens, and in our case as well. January came around and we kept looking at houses online. All of a sudden we spot a new listing the actually seemed great. We arranged a viewing and immediately thought that this could be it. After our second viewing, it was clear - it ticked ALL the boxes on our list. Well kept, excellent location (we are talking F*** YEAH location - 500 meters from school) and at a great price point.

I'm SO happy that this property was listed - it was so much better than what we have otherwise seen. Perfect timing I guess - or was it faith? Thank you whoever made this possible!

Buyers agreement was signed this week! We are house owners and will get the keys mid-April.

So now what???

Two things are absolutely clear!

Time to save every penny possible. Moving to a new place is always expensive! So I will keep Steeming!
I need ALL the exercise I can get. Moving is hard work.

Needless to say. We are very much looking forward to a brand new chapter in life as house owners!
