OVERCOMING DEPRESSION

No one has never been in a low mood in one time or the other due to the up(s) and down (s) of this world but a situation when serious medical illness that negatively affects how one feel, think and act as translates to depression. Quite a lot of causes are attributed to depression, these includes
Continuing difficulty
Long term unemployment
Living in an abusive or uncaring relationship
Long term isolation or loneliness
Prolonged work stress
Losing one's job
Serious. Medical illness and drug/alcohol use.
The aftermath of depression is always disastrous therefore it's mostly important that the affected fellow is helped to get out of such situations as quickly as possible. Below are ways depression could be overcome.

1.Reach out and stay connected by looking for support from people who makes you feel safe and cared for, make talking to someone a priority, find ways to support others.

  1. Do things that makes you feel good. For instance pick up a sport or hobby you used to like., go out with a friend or express yourself creativity through art, music or writing.

  2. Eat a healthy, depression - fighting diet -What you eat has a direct impact on the way you feel. Reduce your intake of foods that can adversely affect your brain and mood, such as caffeine, alcohol, trans fats, and foods with high levels of chemical preservatives or hormones (such as certain meats). Minimize sugar and refined carbs intake, increase your vitamin B intake and eat food rich in omega 3 fatty acid

  3. Challenge negative thinking
    Following the above ways we are sure of overcoming depression.
