What They Don't Teach You In History Class: Heliopolis

Hello fellow Steemians. Seeing how it is has been raining for most of the afternoon I decided to write another post.

I came across the following video online and it made me think about everything we've been taught about history no matter what your level of education.

A very famous quote by Sir Winston Churchill is as follows, "History is written by the victors". This statement is profoundly true which begs the next question. How much of our history is actually true? I may just have to write a few posts about this last question but for now I'll keep this post short and sweet.

Disclaimer before you watch the video: No one has all the facts so before you start disagreeing about anything said.... pause to think & open your mind.

I've seen other videos on YouTube showing how ropes and pullies can pull megalithic stones... but that was on level ground with a weight of 20 tons.

We've been taught and told that pyramids and sites like Stonehenge we're built with massive amounts of manual labor. In reality what information has been given as fact to the masses is in reality pure falsehood.

I don't claim to know the answers but I shall keep an open mind in pursuit of the ultimate truth. Hope you enjoyed this post and don't forget to Upvote!

Super interesting. I'm a Religious Studies and Art History minor…LOVE these amazing historical finds and facts about them. Guess the Romans were not "all that"!

I am fascinated by ancient archeology. I'm glad you enjoyed my post...more to come I promise... Following.
