Life Tips : The Manual Of Everything Part 1

in #life13 days ago

Life tips I wrote a while back in a book about everything, with some silly notes, but maybe they'll serve as a manual for you, my dear. They won't be all of them, but they might be useful.

  • Get some sunlight every morning, even if you're a fucking vampire
  • Always have flash drives and external hard drives available with copies of your data
  • Remember to clean your house, bedroom, clothes, dishes, bathrooms, and most importantly, yourself.
  • Learn to use everything on your computer without needing a mouse, because what if it breaks, right? Better be prepared.
  • Yoga, without the religious aspect, works well as physical exercise, stretching, and therapy when you're short on money and can only choose one. But if you're smart, you can just pay for the therapy and see the rest online.
  • When in doubt, your hair just needs shampoo and you leave it alone.
  • Intuitive eating for weight loss only works when you stay present; it's an effort of intention and attention rather than dieting itself. When you make the effort to feel everything your body is doing in that moment. Every movement. ends up becoming tiring.
  • In terms of magic, or just for fun if you're a pyromaniac, write your intentions, affirmations, and motivations on paper and burn them in front of a mirror. It helps both reinforce spells and banish something from your life, depending on your desire.
  • Your life still has meaning and color even without bad ways of dealing with it; resisting addictions is a continuous effort.
  • Often, your illness is just the natural processing of emotions, and sometimes it's real. When in doubt, see a doctor.
  • Drink water, your body is dry.
  • It's very useful to learn about policies for inclusion of bodies with disabilities and diversity, because one day you will also grow old, and if not, you're always a second away from an accident that will break you completely.
  • If your compulsion is destructive, choose something less destructive but still destructive to minimize the damage.
  • Nostalgia is a lie.
  • When in doubt about which exercise to do when you have many restrictions, just move your body like an amoeba until you sweat. What can you do? - If you're going to shave and doubt your ability to avoid cutting yourself, use scissors and just trim.
  • Try not looking in the mirror for two weeks, trust me, and then tell me what happened.
  • From worst to least worst: loans > cards > money
  • If you're not religious, don't have temples or safe places, if there's a forest or beach nearby, go lie down there for about 10 minutes when it's safe. It might calm you down to remember that you're an animal and part of the whole.
  • Mood boards can be very calming.

As you can see. If you cant, at the end there is a description:*

  • The best way to alleviate instant physical pain is to breathe, try to calm yourself and make a quick decision on the spot, or just to help you get through it if you have no choice.
  • Nuance is necessary sometimes, but there are immutable truths, regardless of ideals and opinions, that shouldn't be sacrificed by invoking nuance just to gain a speech.
  • Be what you are.

*This is a moodboard containing seven pictures, one of feet touching the ocean, another of two glasses of wine with cheese on a table, another contains a bedroom showcasing a bed and a plant, the other is a sakura tree near a river, an external white house corridor that goes down with a staircase, a woman with a paper crown and a white dress in front of an open field, and right in the middle of these images there is the name "aesthetic moodboard" written in white above a huge white plant leaf.
