Yes unfortunately this has infected our entire mental process. We don't practice any democracy. We got some weird pseudo republic system where we entrust our power into a minority group of people who have their own interest at heart and not ours.
What's even worse is we don't even really elect them. We have the electorial college and money and influence of that money, through cia like mental manipulation tactics and commericals because we got all this money in politics controlling votes.
On top of that its mostly a money scheme happening in Washington Dc to control all the taxpayers money. Good post you're absolutely correct and aware. That's the first step in addressing this problem.
