Hachikō (Odate, 10 de noviembre de 1923 - Tokio, 8 de marzo de 1935) fue un perro japonés de raza akita, recordado por su lealtad a su amo, el profesor Hidesaburō Ueno, incluso varios años después de la muerte de este. Su nombre se escribe ハチ公 en idioma japonés. Actualmente se lo conoce como Chūken Hachikō (忠犬ハチ公), ‘el perro fiel Hachikō’ (siendo hachi: "ocho", y kō: "leal").
