"I AM NOT YOUR SLAVE"

in #life6 years ago

Gone far are the days when men struggled to gain independence; independence from their slave masters, and independence from an enslaving colonial master. Whether it be from an individual or from a whole nation, the idea of an independence and freedom has long ago been valid and will continue to matter.

In recent, West Africans are outraged by the inhumane treatment by their fellow Africans mostly of the Arabian decent in essence Libyans. Nigerian far-cry is heard all over the world that an African nation has indulged in depriving her fellow African the right to live free. What a world of treachery, wickedness and betrayal that we are living in. My question to the Libyans is what make you any better than me? Who gave you the right to subject a fellow human to torture and acts of barberry by a fellow African?

Have you forgotten that barely a hundred years ago Africans protested that the Europeans had denied them freedom to live and denial to rights of occupancy? We fought for our freedom, we bled for our right, and we died to see that our cry and protest were heard by the world at large. Soon these struggles and fight for liberty and justice paid off when we sent the colonial and slave masters packing. How come you as my brother now decided to elevate yourself in a position that denies me the very liberty I fought for?

What makes you any better than me? Is it the color of your skin? Have you realized that the colonial masters didn’t treat you better than the black man? What makes you think you are superior to us the blacks from the West? Be ashamed oh’ you Africans, be ashamed you Libyans for you have betrayed your continent, and Africans. You betrayed all those who were martyred and those who shed their Blood for the freedom and liberty of this Continent.prison-162885_640.jpg
I hope that your children will have a good future, because there is what we know as the law of sowing and reaping, in another word, it is called; “law of karma”, in that whatever you so that you will reap multiple fold in return. Don’t let the blood of the dead and the innocent you have slayed cry for vengeance, your children’s life can never be sweet, if the cry of the oppressed is heard.man-1386235_640.jpg
Stop slavery, stop treating Nigerians and Africans like a slave. I am not your slave, I am your brother, Be your brothers keeper.
