In a deep forest, there lived 3 goats. They always grazed together. They always made sure that wherever they went, they went in a group. Because they always went in a group, no wild animal was able to harm them.
But unknown to them, a leopard had been watching them for quite some time. The leopard always longed to feast upon them. He imagined in his mind,
“How delicious these soft goats will be”
But whenever he approached them, they drove him away with their horns because they were strong as a group, and they stuck together.
They lived in peace and safety for months, but one day the goats had a big quarrel.
One goat said to another,
“Don’t ever talk to me again”
Another said to the other,
“I don’t want to be part of this group again”
Saying this, each goat went in a different direction to feed.
The leopard was very pleased with this. He took advantage of this opportunity. He pounced upon the goats one by one and ate them up.
Unfortunately, it was too late for the goats to learn the lesson that,
“United we stand, divided we fall”
