The trip begins near the small village bMollepatab which is in the southern part of Peru at an altitude of 2.803 m.

[This was the start of the path]

The landscape had a green, misty environment and we walked for 3 hours with the fellowship of the clouds above our heads. At some points the clouds made us a favor, and showed us the giant and compelling mountains.

We arrived at the first campsite, we rested for a while and then we kept walking towards the Humanty lake.

Above Humantay lake sits one admirable glacier, witch unfortunately due to climatic change has shrinked. After that we came back to our campsite to spend our first night at the mountain.

The next day we woke up at 4 AM and we started walking towards the highest point of our path at 4600m altitude. From there we could see the higest peak of the mountain at ~6000m altitude.

After that we kept on the path towards the other slope of the mountain, the landscape changed from alpine to a green and full of life forest. The three curius donkeys wyou see here, were in the middle of theese environments, just feeding themselves peacefully.

At the end of our trek we finally arived at our destination, the well known Matchu Pitchu.

It was one of the best expiriences of my life, if for any reason you wind up there, try it. It is worth it. Cheers from Greece
