Continue From What We Done In Our Ex-Company...
When we are handling loading and unloading, sometime although difficult we handle smoothly and easy to earned overtimes. Sometime we need to carry by our hand and need to check with packing list. We are very scare of calcium silicate from china. One shipment was two to three containers and we have to clear manually and check all the stock with packing list. Our hair and body turn white because of calcium silicate ponders and thought was dry and difficult to breathe. We need to drinks a lot of water and clear ourselves.
Another shipment was heat resistance insulation Rockwool, it was always come with lose packing and need to clear manually as well. It was very itchy and everyone not willing to do. We always want to complete as first as possible and we don’t want to continue the next day. Sometime we do have to continue because of too many container and we always try to choose to do at night. Whenever we do thing, our clothes need to wash until the glass wool get off.
And we always have fun with forklift and we like to play and showing off each other. When we need to carry over load, we always add counter weight at the back of the forklift and carry the cargo. It was very fun and cannot drive wherever you want to go and need to wait the rear wheel to touch the ground.
On one day, we need to help unloading container, while we are carrying the load by forklift, the hydraulic hose was burst and the cargo was slowly going down, but my clothes was all wet by hydraulic oil. We can’t complete our job and need to wait until the hose replacement was done and continue until finished our job.
Another hydraulic oil experience was at warehouse, oil drum was spill and need to clear the damage drum. We have to use forklift to clear the oil drums to get the damage drum. But it was so slippery and forklift was sliding into the oil and can’t get it out. We need to get the sand from the back yard to absorb the oil and to get back the forklift and continue to complete the job. When we are doing this we do like our job and enjoying our self.
Sometime when we need to clear the very long and heavy cargo, we check the maximum load of cargo and we just used two forklift to unload to save the cost to rent the karto crane. At the time we have to synchronize each other and moving around and put into the work-shop hall. Sometime we even need to use three forklift to handle the cargo.
We all doing this without forklift licence and we just keep doing at the time. Government was not yet enforcing laws and we still can drive around with in-house tanning. But when cargo was damage we still claim by using authorized driver names.
