I'm not sure what I'd be faking? Ghostwriting? I'd rather not damage my efforts by claiming to be able to do something I can't, then not being able to deliver, or delivering a poor product.

All of the advice I've gotten about referring to work experience says, keep it to the last two years. I've been out of the workforce since 2010.

I see if that's in your case. I personally have worked before in the same field. So it was an experience and a portfolio. So practically, I worked with a friend before going into the fiverr. Then I got into the gig with 90% of how things work. The rest as I said, browsing extensively and researching.

Still best of luck to you. And build a portfolio.

Indeed, prior experience can be quite valuable.
