Yup. Ugg boots. An iconic Australian brand of footwear characterised by sheep/lambs wool interior and internationally recognised to the extent where the brand name itself has become a noun. A shorter post from me today (yes you can breathe a sigh of relief, I am not a woman of few words but today I will try!)

You can tell these boots are worn. The fact that they've lost all structure in the backwalls says a lot and actually thinking back about how long husbo had these for (8 years) - I'd say we got our money's worth!
I don't really know why I felt inspired to take photos of these but there was something poetic about looking at a really rundown pair of shoes with a completely fresh set. Or maybe I'm just suffering from lack of sleep and you guys are like 'uh, for real, why are you posting photos of old shoes?!'
Ok thinking about it now I feel like the materialistic part of me enjoys looking at new purchases (I LOVE unboxings!) but the contrast between old and new is kind of meaningful in a few different ways I guess :)
