I had signed up with the Arizona MMJ department for my "greencard" back in 2014 and had it for 2 years before calling it quits, due to the outrages 300+ $ every year to renew it which makes no sense and is just a way of the government raking in more cash than they need but since prices have dropped due to many more doctors in the valley I will be applying to get my medcard again by the end of this month. Kind of sad that Arizona was one of the only states where recreational did not pass but it was due to some campaigning by pharma and tobacco companies who payed for adds that lied about car crash rates going up, more underage usage using Colorado as an example, when in fact both of those rates dropped significantly along with Opiod Overdoses. So if anyone is on the other side of the debate and would love to explain why you should have a say in what I get to put into my body that does no harm to anyone else, especially looking at CO and how they have legalized, and brought in millions for their public schools (Arizona is ranked 49th in education, which is an embarrassment IMO) and all the positives regulation does compared to prohibition which we know from history DOES NOT WORK! We need to legalize cannabis, foremost federally as it is a schedule 1 drug which states that is has 0 medical benefits and is "one of the most harmful drugs" when it has been proven again and again that this is not the case. Would love to open a discussion on anyones thoughts!

Here is Alberta the prices are way too high at dispensaries. Its all $8.50 to $10 per gram whilst the black market next door has AAA-AAAA quality for $5 to $6.50 a gram.
Basically just the same quality but now "legal" and "taxed" so its some how better for everyone?
Its sad because knowing Alberta we will like have 2 government parties fight over the tax dollars...
